
What is the Fanvil Cloud Management Solution (FCMS)?
The Fanvil Cloud Management Solution (including Smart Property Management Platform and Fanvil Link App) is a cloud-based smart management system designed to achieve efficient property management. It allows residents to remotely communicate with visitors, unlock doors, and use temporary passwords to enhance access control security and reliability.
Fanvil are well know for their SIP compliance and interoperability with many homes, businesses, hospitals, and apartment buildings integrating Fanvil access control, PA systems, health management communications systems, telephony, and intercom systems. With FCMS Fanvil have added full cloud management of single homes, Office Installations, Apartment Installations, and nursing / aged care / hospital installations. From receiving calls remotely to full access control managent of facilities, FCMS is a powerful cloud system for management of access control including remote video calls and remote unlocking. FCMS removes the requirement for an IP PBX as calls are managed through the cloud allowing Fanvil intercom equipment to be in different networks, as long as there is an internet connection.
Active Online have long been developing cableless intercom systems for homes, offices, and apartments are we are happy to announce that Fanvil intercoms work within our systems allowing for intercoms and access control in locations where cabling is difficult (expensive) or existing cabling requires replacement.
FCMS is available as a 1 off licence for each endpoint (home, apartment, etc) and up to 5 people can use the licence for that end point. For example a family of 5 could all have the Fanvil App for their home intercom so they never miss a delivery or visitor again. App users can also give temporary access to contractors or visiting friends or family through the App.
Applications
Single residence
The gate or door intercoms and any monitors are added to FCMS along with each user of the licenced Link App. Note that only a master user needs to be added at installation as they can then invite family members directly through the App. The family members / users will receive a welcome email with instructions on downloading the App (Android and iOS) and logging in to the system. The door intercoms and monitors connect to FCMS over the internet and are then active within the system. Each Link App user can then monitor door intercom cameras, receive calls from visitors and remotely unlock the door or gate, and setup temporary access for contractors or visitors.
FCMS removes the requirement to setup an IP PBX or configure the intercom for direct IP calls. Installation and configuration is essentially plug and play making installing and using Fanvil access control intercoms much easier. The installer / dealer can also access the intercom devices through their FCMS account and perform firmware updates and diagnosis as required. The system is secure, practical, and efficient to install, use, and maintain.

Communities / Businesses
Communities (Apartments / Units) and Businesses expand on the single resident system and include powerful access control systems for tennants, employees, delivery contractors, and visitors. The systems can be managed online through a Property Manager Account that provides an overview and full configuration of the access control system including messaging. Users can be added to apartments or departments depending on the configuration of the system. Time of day access, access groups, temporary pin codes, access logs, are all accessible through the Property Manager portal.
