Retrofit this 2-wire IP Video intercom system onto your old intercom wiring (2-wire). Easily replace old analog intercom systems with a modern IP system. Add access control via PIN code for controlled access.
Description
Retrofit to existing 2 wire cabling for a modern IP based intercom system including video touch screen and access control keypad.
This kit by Akuvox allows you to connect a new IP based video intercom system over the existing 2-wires providing a retrofit solution for intercom systems.
Connect the door station (R20K-2) directly to the monitor (C313W-2) with 2 wires and power via the monitor with the supplied power supply. Connect the monitor via WiFi to your internet router if you want to use the Akuvox SmartPlus App for remote calls and monitoring.
Truly the easiest and best way to retrofit a new intercom system to your home or building.
For Homes:
Connect the door station directly to the monitor and power via the monitor. Daisy-chain monitors to as many rooms as you like for a full intercom system. Note that this kit allows up to 2 monitors with the 25W power supply included. Contact us for a quote for additional monitors / door stations and appropriate power supply.
For Buildings:
Connect an Apartment door station (R29C for example) to a PoE switch and connect the PoE switch to an NS-2 w-wire switch. Each monitor connects to the NS-2 and NS-2 switches can be cascaded to extend over long distances and multiple apartments.
